James Gardiner is an Athletic Therapist and Strength & Conditioning Specialist with over 16 years of professional service. He has worked with athletes from major sports at the professional level (including MLS, NLL, NHL, MLB, MiLB, NCAA, OHL, AHL, CFL, Olympians, World Competitors) and high level amateurs.
In hosting this podcast, James brings insight, passion and a drive to push the profession of Athletic Therapy forward as an integral part of the sports performance landscape.

Master(s)ing Athletic Therapy in Canada
Sitting down to discuss the launch of the Masters of Athletic Therapy at Brock University. This program is the first of its kind offered in Canada, in English.
Dr. Chimera provides a rundown on its creation, development and overview.
Dr. Nicole Chimera the Graduate Program Director for the Master of Athletic Therapy Program and an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Brock University.
Prior to coming to Brock in 2018, Dr. Chimera was the Program Director for an Athletic Training Master’s degree program in New York. She also has experience as a faculty member in undergraduate athletic training and exercise science programs as well as 20 years of clinical experience. Additionally, she is a clinical biomechanist with a focus on understanding how the interaction between tissue functionality and neuromuscular control impact movement and injury.
